Istanbul Old City Tour

Our tour begins at the historic Hippodrome, a place that dates back to ancient Roman times. Another highlight of our tour is the Hagia Sophia. As one of Istanbul’s symbolic landmarks, the Hagia Sophia is a gateway to the depths of history. Initially built as a patriarchal church during the Byzantine Empire, this magnificent structure was later converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire and now serves as a museum. The Hagia Sophia will captivate you with its unique mosaics, grand domes, and historical ambiance.

Our next destination is Topkapi Palace. This enchanting palace served as the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. You can explore its stunning gardens, visit the historical chambers, and get a close-up experience of the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. After visit Topkapi palace, we will explore the biggest underground cistern called Yerebatan Basalica Cistern. One of Istanbul’s most prominent structures, the Basalica Cistern, was built by the Eastern Roman Emperor Justinian in the 6^th century. For centuries, Yerabatan Basalica Cistern, was used to distribute water for the needs of the city of Constantinapolis, obtained from historical waterways.

At the end of our tour, we will visit the Grand Bazaar, located in the heart of Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar has been a thriving trading center since the Middle Ages, with thousands of shops housed within its walls.
